Blue Earth Area Youth For Christ
Blue Earth Area Youth for Christ has been consistently sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ for more than thirteen Years. We work together with local churches and other likeminded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus. The Refuge is a place where 11 to 19 year-olds can connect
with other students and adults who care about them and want to help them connect with Jesus, who died for their sin and rose to make them right with God. We want to help them see that all of the relationships in their life point to this most important relationship, and that a relationship with
Jesus will impact all of their relationships.

Rodney Yates - rodney@scmyfc.org
Rodney Yates has been involved in ministry since he was a teen. Many adults poured Jesus life into his and showed him that life’s greatest joy was following and sharing Jesus with others. He has lived with his wife Merilyn in Winnebago since 1988 and has seen a lot of young people grow up alongside his four children. Some of the teens who come into the refuge are the children of those “young people”. Rodney was a Pastor in Winnebago for 19 years and most recently worked with Youth for Christ in Albert Lea from 2017 to 2021. He is excited to see what God will do in the Youth of Blue Earth Area through adults who empower them with Jesus.

Campus Life Breakfast Club
Wednesday • 7:30 AM - 8:05 AM
Located in room J24 of BEA Middle School.
Small Groups
Times determined by the small group
We want to gather small groups of students according to age and common interests (music, cooking, exercise, weight training, or something else).
Please contact Rodney if you are a student wanting to join, or an adult wanting to lead a small group.
